台中2歲半張姓男童9日上午陳屍28歲龍姓保母家中，27歲葉姓單親媽媽說，6月時委託無照保母帶小孩，自己北上工作，沒想到接到兒子死亡噩耗，質疑被虐致死，不過卻有前雇主爆料，「葉女常說自己愛小孩，但卻常常不來接，都要打很多次電話。」情人節當天還跟男友吃大餐。檢警今天將偕同法醫相驗遺體，了解真正死因。
葉姓單親媽媽說，今年6月時委託無保母執照的龍姓女子，幫忙帶兒子，自己北上工作，聽到小孩噩耗，「前幾天保母說我兒子都不吃東西，為什麼她不送醫院，而且他全身都是傷痕！」不過龍女則說，生母帶男童來時身上就有瘀青， 午睡發現沒氣息才趕緊報警，但警方初步發現，男童童手掌、腿及頭部有小面積的瘀青，瘀青並非撞擊所致，也沒有明顯外傷，排除遭虐殺。
檢警目前已經將兩人的尿液送驗，複訊後依業務過失致死罪令龍女5萬元交保，不過卻有前雇主出面爆料，「他因為繳不出保母費，才一直換保母，不是沒錢，是錢全部拿去吃喝玩樂，甚至要我打電話給他，要他來接小孩才會來，如果我沒打電話，就都不會來接。」雖然葉女曾在臉書寫下，「小孩得厭食症讓我都快哭了！」但根本沒有來看小孩。
葉女雖然反駁，「是保母不讓我看視訊的！」但不給看視訊，卻沒有很大的反應，在男童猝死前，還和男友臉書打卡歡慶情人節，不過孩子有神經系統疾病，手腳會不自覺抽搐，是否施虐致死，檢警今天將偕同法醫相驗遺體，了解真正死因。
